The first official dinner club was held on April 1, 2000. The result of a couple friends getting fed up with "We should do lunch sometime". The friends thought, what's wrong with dinner? So they organized. Now we "do" dinner every couple months. Each dinner is organized by a different person. The host/hostess for the dinner will pick the restaurant and take care of making reservations, contacting people, and making sure everyone has fun. Dinners are usually during the week in the Philadelphia area and the group is mostly single male/female, professional, 30/40 somethings. New members are always welcome. We have found that the dinner club provides a great excuse to get together on a regular basis and share fine food and wine with a great group of friends.
